others, has written for the Sun, the Daily Mirror, the Daily Express and the
Sunday Telegraph. His blagging credentials include smuggling fake drugs into

Copywriter Paul Nero worked for newspapers, TV and radio, before starting
writing agency Plain Text in 2001. After attending a small, unknown college,
where he excelled as an acrobat, he blagged his way into a succession of jobs
to get his hands on freebies such as hot-air balloon flights, a trip to the
Olympic Games and an attractive pair of stilts. He is author of a business book
Creative Business (FT/Prentice Hall, 2002) and news editor of Radio Plymouth.
He retired to Cornwall ridiculously young and is now learning to box.
